Configuring Rate Groups

Prerequisites for Configuring Rate Groups

When the Rate Groups OPERA Control is active for Best Available Rates, out of all Best Available Rates only the "Best" rate code for each rate group is displayed. You can also setup BAR Based rate codes to calculate the rate amount based on Best BAR rate code's amount of a particular rate group.

Adding Best Available Rate Rate Groups

1. From the Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then Rate Groups.

2. Click New and complete the following:

   1. Property: Enter or select the property.

   2. Code: Enter a code for the rate group.

   3. Description: Enter a description for the rate group.

3. Click Save or click Save and Continue to add another.

Editing Best Available Rate Rate Groups

1. From the Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then Rate Groups.

2. Enter search criteria then click Search.

3. Select the rate group in the search result, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

4. Update the configuration.

5. Click Save.

Deleting Best Available Rate Rate Groups

1. From the Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then Rate Groups.

2. Enter search criteria then click Search.

3. Select the rate group in the search result, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

4. Click Delete to confirm.
