Configuring Guest Rooms

Here, you can configure all guest room related information for distribution.

Editing Guest Rooms

  1. From the Administration menu, select Distribution, then select Content Management, select Facilities, and then click Guest Rooms.
  2. Click View Room Class to view room classes.
  3. Note:

    In addition to having the appropriate permissions, you must select at least one record in order edit a guest room record.
  4. Select a guest room and click Pencil icon to edit to edit the following details.
    1. Information: Information about the selected room type. This information is Read Only.
    2. Distribution Attributes
      1. Room Category: Select a Room Category
      2. GDS Room Description 1: Enter the GDS room description. This field allows a maximum of 45 characters.
      3. GDS Room Description 2: Enter the GDS room description. This field allows a maximum of 45 characters.
      4. GDS Room Description 3: Enter the GDS room description. This field allows a maximum of 45 characters.
      5. Distribution Room Description: Enter room description using markup tools. This field allows a maximum of 2000 characters.
      6. Click Update to update and close.
      7. Click Next button next to move to the Features tab.
    3. Features
      1. Click Add Features to create a record, or click Pencil icon to edit icon to edit an already existing feature.
      2. Class: Select Room View Type, Room Location Type or Primary Bed Type. This field is required.
      3. Room Feature: Select Room Feature. This field is required
      4. Inactive: Select this check box to set the feature to inactive.
      5. Action: Click check icon to save the record to save the record or click ignore icon to close the record to ignore.
      6. Click the Delete Features to delete the record.
    4. Amenities
      1. Click Add Amenity to create a record.
        1. Amenity: Select the amenity
        2. Charges: Add charge for the amenity. Only numeric values.
        3. Frequency: Select how often the amount will be charged.
        4. Quantity: Add number of amenities or use arrow up/down to select.
        5. Confirmable: Select if amenity is confirmable at booking.
        6. Actions: Click check icon to save the record to save the record or click ignore icon to close the record to ignore.
        7. Click Update to update the details.
