Configuring General

In the Content Management - General screen you can configure the general configuration, such as descriptions, languages, location Information or contact details of the property.

Configuring Property Details

  1. From the Administration menu, select Distribution, then select Content Management, and then Information.

  2. On the Information page, fill in the following Property Details:
    1. Organizational Property Code: Displays the organization code assigned during registration. Read-only.
    2. Property Name: Displays the property name assigned during registration. Read-only.
    3. Property ID: Displays the ID assigned during registration. Read-only.
    4. Primary Language: Displays the primary language assigned during registration. Read-only.
    5. Time Zone: Displays the time zone assigned during registration. Read-only.
    6. Currency: Displays the currency assigned during registration. Read-only.
    7. Property Type: Select the property type (for example: Hotel, Lodge, Resort). Required.
    8. Tax ID: Enter the property’s tax ID.
    9. Property Description: Enter a description of the property, up to 2,000 characters. Required.
    10. Alternative Name: Enter an alternate name for the property.
    11. Property Status: Select whether the property is Bookable or Non Bookable. Required.
    12. Property Status Code: Select the operational state: Test, Pre-Opening, Open, or Inactive. Required.
    13. Date Built: Select the date the property was built. Required.
    14. Date Last Renovated: Select the date the property was last renovated.

Configuring General Information

  1. From the Administration menu, select Distribution, then select Content Management, and then Information.

  2. On the Information page, fill in the following General Information details:
    1. Market Tier: Select the property’s market tier (for example: Standard, Upscale, Tourist). Required.
    2. Star Rating: Select the property’s star rating. Required.
    3. Languages Spoken at the Property: Select all languages spoken at the property.
    4. Vacation Rental: Indicate whether the property offers vacation rentals.
    5. Seasonal Hotel: Indicate whether the property operates seasonally. Required.
    6. Closed From: Select the start date of the seasonal closure. Enabled only when Seasonal Hotel is set to Yes.
    7. Closed To: Select the end date of the seasonal closure. Enabled only when Seasonal Hotel is set to Yes.
    8. Total Number of Rooms: Enter the total number of rooms at the property. Required.
    9. Total Number of Floors: Enter the total number of floors at the property. Required.
    10. Longitude: Displays the longitude captured during registration. Read-only.
    11. Latitude: Displays the latitude captured during registration. Read-only.
    12. Unit of Measurement: Select the unit of measurement used at the property. Default based on the property’s country.
    13. Measurement Type: Select the measurement type used at the property. Default based on the property’s country.

    14. Click Update to save the record.
