Prerequisites for Importing Postal Codes

The Import Postal Codes utility lets authorized users bulk import postal codes for a selected country. When you import for a country, all existing postal codes are deleted for that country and are replaced with the new records, ensuring a current, consistent set of postal codes.

Note:

Only a standard SID file with UTF-8 encoding, and with a maximum file size of 10 MB, can be used to import postal codes.

  1. From the Toolbox menu, select Utilities, select Data Management, and then select Import Postal Codes.

  2. Country Code: Select or confirm the country code.
  3. Click Choose File and select the SID file from the file system. Click Open to select.
  4. Click Import.
  5. Click Yes on the confirmation message Uploading of postal codes can take a while. Do you want to continue?
