Managing Profile Memberships
Prerequisites for Profile Memberships
You can manage membership details for guests or contacts (available when the Contact OPERA Control is active). Multiple membership details can be added to a profile and selected for reservations.
With an Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud Service, Loyalty subscription you can also enroll guests, view and manage membership transactions and awards, view points totals and other details. For more information, see Managing Profile Membership (Loyalty Cloud Service)
Note:
To view inactive memberships, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Show Inactive.Adding Profile Memberships

From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Client Relations, select Profile, and then select Manage Profile.

Enter search criteria and click Search.

Select the profile in the search results, click I Want To… and then select Membership or click the Membership link in Profile Presentation.

Click New and complete the following fields:

Type: Select the membership type from the list.

Card Number: Enter the membership ID number; the number is validated when the membership type is configured for card number validation. A number is auto-generated and populated to Card Number when the membership type is configured for auto-generation. For more information, see Configuring Membership Type Card Number Details

Name on Card: By default, the profile name appears here. You may edit this information if the membership name is different.

Level: Select a membership level from the list.

Enrollment Code: Select an enrollment code from the list. The enrollment code might indicate, for example, how the guest enrolled in the program. For more information, see Configuring Membership Enrollment Codes

Preferred Card: Select check box if the membership program is the guest's Preferred Card. A profile can only have one preferred card. When creating a new membership, the first membership associated with a profile will always default as the preferred card. When adding additional memberships to the same profile, or editing existing memberships, you have the option to select the preferred card for that membership. (Available when the Preferred Card OPERA Control is active).

Member Since: Enter or select the date when the guest became a member of this program (that is, the join date).

Expiration: Enter of select a date for membership expiry. The date may default or require a specific format (month/year) based on Expiry Period specified in Configuring Membership Type Point Calculation and Tier Management

Sequence: Enter a sequence number that determines where this membership is listed on the Profile Membership Lists screen. The sequence number defined here precedes the sequence defined in Configuring Membership Type Details. If a sequence number is not entered, the membership is listed alphabetically following any memberships that are assigned a sequence number.
Note:
The primary membership type will always display first regardless of the defined sequence. -
Player Ranking: This is the player ranking of the casino player and indicates the casino membership level. This read-only field appears once a value is defined for the Default PTS Membership Type OPERA Control. (Available with Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud Service, Casino and Gaming Management Add-on subscription).

Comments: Enter any comments as needed.

Click Save.
Editing Profile Memberships

From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Client Relations, select Profile, and then select Manage Profile.

Enter search criteria and click Search.

Select the profile in the search results, click I Want To… and then select Membership or click the Membership link in Profile Presentation.

Select the membership then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

Update the details.

Inactive: Select the check box to inactive the membership. The membership is removed from all checked in and future reservations.

Click Save.
Deleting Profile Memberships

From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Client Relations, select Profile, and then select Manage Profile.

Enter search criteria and click Search.

Select the profile in the search results, click I Want To… and then select Membership or click the Membership link in Profile Presentation.

Select the membership then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.
- Click Delete to confirm.
Viewing Profile Membership Details
When the Mask Membership Numbers OPERA Control is active, membership Card Numbers are masked and your role must have the View Membership Number task granted to view the unmasked Card Number.

From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Client Relations, select Profile, and then select Manage Profile.

Enter search criteria and click Search.

Select the profile in the search results, click I Want To… and then select Membership or click the Membership link in Profile Presentation.

Click Show Masked Information to unmask the Card Numbers. This activity is tracked in the Changes Log.
Viewing Profile Membership Information (Primary Membership)
On the Membership Information page, you can review a guest's primary loyalty membership details and view points, tier progress, and stay activity. This page is read-only, and is not visible from the Membership Information link on the Primary Membership as well as Profile Overview. For more information, see Creating and Editing Profiles.

From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Client Relations, select Profile, and then select Manage Profile.

Enter search criteria and click Search.

Select the profile in the search results, click I Want To… and then select Membership or click the Membership link in Profile Presentation.

Select the membership, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu, and then select View Details.
- On the Membership screen, click the Member Info link.
- On the Member Info page, you can view the following:

Reviewing Member Summary Information
- In the Member Summary, review:
- Member name and profile photo (if available).
- Membership Number: Unique identifier of the guest¿s primary loyalty membership.
- Membership Level: Current tier/level for the primary membership account.
- Description: Informational description associated with the membership level or membership (if configured).
- Member since: Date the primary membership was created or activated.
- Expiration Date: Date the primary membership expires (if expiration is enabled).
- VIP (if configured): VIP indicator/code associated with the guest profile or membership.
- Contact Information (email, phone, country/region): Contact details displayed from the guest profile, subject to permissions.
- In the Member Summary, review:

Tier Progress: Select the respective radio button:
- Night points
- Stay points
- Revenue points

View current and next tier progress based on the selected points type.
Note:
If no qualifying activity exists for the selected option, the section may display No data to display.
- Available Award Points: Total redeemable/available points and
category breakdown.
- Review the chart legend to understand the point categories displayed. Such as, Base Points, Bonus Points, and Misc Points.
- Tiered Points: Tier-earning points summarized by activity period or
lifetime. Select View by, Activity period or Lifetime.
- Review the chart values by points type. Such as, Base and Bonus Points.
- Stay Information: Totals for nights and stays. Review totals, such
as, Total Nights and Total Stays.
Note:
If multiple categories are shown, Such as, Membership and Guest. Use the legend to interpret the totals.
