Configuring Guest Room Amenities

Use the Guest Room Amenities option to assign one or more amenities to multiple guest rooms at the same time. The guided two-step process helps users select amenities and associate them with the required guest rooms.

Adding Guest Room Amenities

  1. From the Administration menu, select Distribution, then select Content Management, select Facilities, and then click Guest Room Amenities.
  2. Click Add Amenities or click the Pencil icon to edit icon on the right-hand side of each record to edit an already existing Amenity.
  3. To add amenities:
    1. Select one or more Amenities from the list or search amenities using the search bar on top
    2. Click Pencil icon to edit icon to edit additional configuration to the amenity:
      1. Amount: Add any applicable charges for the amenity. Only numeric values.
      2. Frequency: Select how often the amount will be charged.
      3. Quantity: Add number of amenities -typically used with bed amenities ex if room has 2 king beds.
      4. Confirmable: Select if amenity is confirmable at booking.
      5. Actions: Click check mark to select the email icon to save configuration or Icon to remove the email address icon to ignore configuration.
    3. Click Continue to link guest rooms to the amenities or click Cancel to quit.
  4. To link guest room:
    1. Select one or more Guest Rooms from the list or search Guest Rooms.
    2. Click Submit to save and return to list of amenities or select Cancel to quit.

Editing Guest Room Amenities

  1. From the Administration menu, select Distribution, then select Content Management, select Facilities, and then click Guest Room Amenities.
  2. Select an amenity and click Pencil icon to edit icon.
    1. Amount: Add or remove any applicable charges for the amenity. Only numeric values.
    2. Frequency: Select how often the amount will be charged.
    3. Quantity: Add number of amenities -typically used with bed amenities ex if room has 2 king beds.
    4. Confirmable: Select if amenity is confirmable at booking.
  3. To Add or Remove linked guest room:
    1. Click check box next to a guest room record to Add guest room to amenity or de-select check box to Remove guest room from amenity.

      Note:

      At least one guest room must be selected to store the amenity.
    2. Click Update to save changes.

Deleting Guest Room Amenities

  1. From the Administration menu, select Distribution, then select Content Management, select Facilities, and then click Guest Room Amenities.
  2. Select an amenity and click Delete icon to delete an email. icon.
