Expiry of User Sessions
When your OPERA Cloud session is idle for the minutes set in Idle Session Timeout OPERA Control, OPERA Cloud will automatically log out. You are provided a two minute warning prior to OPERA Cloud disconnecting an idle session.
If you are accessing OPERA Cloud through multiple browser tabs:
-
The session is kept alive in all tabs as long as you are active in one of the tabs.
-
If a session becomes idle, then all tabs receive the two minute popup warning that the session is about to expire.
-
If a sessions continues to idle, all tabs will show the Session Expired popup and will be disconnected.
Note:
By default the Idle Session Timeout OPERA Control is set to 15-minute according to PCI-DSS Best Practices, Requirement 8.2.8. For more information, see pcisecuritystandardsParent topic: Getting Started
