Configure User Access via OCIM
Please view the OCIM Administrator Guide based upon your configuration for instructions on how to set user access in Oracle Hospitality OPERA Reporting and Analytics (R&A) for users through OPERA Cloud Identity Management.
OCIM Enabled Data Access Hierarchy
The hierarchy is set up with three primary group types, each representing different levels of data access: Enterprise, Chain, and Property.
At the top level, we have the Enterprise group, which provides access to all levels and properties within the organization. Below this are Chain groups, where each chain represents a collection of properties. User administrators can assign access to specific chains, ensuring that users can only view and manage data relevant to their associated chains.
The most granular level is the Property group, where access is granted for individual properties or resorts within a chain. This hierarchical structure ensures a clear division of data access.
Once Data Access via OCIM is enabled, it becomes the centralized control point for managing the hierarchy and data access rights for the administrators.
