Configure User Access via OCIM

Please view the OCIM Administrator Guide based upon your configuration for instructions on how to set user access in Oracle Hospitality OPERA Reporting and Analytics (R&A) for users through OPERA Cloud Identity Management.

OCIM Enabled Data Access

The data access structure is set up with three primary group types, each representing different levels of data access:

[ENT]-RNAACCESS where ENT is your enterprise code which has only a single entry.

[CHN]-RNAACCESS where CHN will align with your chain codes in OPERA Cloud. A group will exist for each chain configured under your enterprise.

[PRO]-RNAACCESS where PRO will align to the property code in OPERA Cloud. A group will exist for each property configured within a chain under your enterprise.

At the top level, we have the Enterprise group, which provides access to all levels and properties within the organization. Below this are Chain groups, where each chain represents a collection of properties. User administrators can assign access to specific chains, ensuring that users can only view and manage data relevant to their associated chains.

The most granular level is the Property group, where access is granted for individual properties or resorts within a chain. This group structure ensures a clear division of data access.

Once Identity Management Based User Access is enabled, it becomes the centralized control point for managing data access rights for the administrators in R&A.
