The Oracle Payment Interface Cloud Service release 26.3 contains the following features and functionality.

Block Copying CC in OPI Cloud for viewing Credit card details

To enhance security, selection and copying of credit/debit card numbers is blocked in the OPI Cloud pop-up when viewing card details in OPI Cloud enabled properties or properties with a Customer Token Provider enabled.

Added Disclaimer pop-up for Retokenization

Added a disclaimer pop-up to the Retokenization Configuration screen in the OPI Cloud Tenant Configuration Portal to ensure administrators verify the prerequisites before enabling retokenization.

Added Credit Card Surcharge checkbox

For properties with the Credit Card Surcharge Applied by Payment Service Provider (PSP) OPERA Control active, a CC Surcharge Through PSP check box is added to the OPI Cloud Tenant Configuration Portal on the Core Configuration tab. When enabled, surcharge amounts calculated by the Payment Service Provider are supported in OPERA Cloud. When the checkbox is not selected, PSP surcharge functionality remains disabled.

OPERATIONAL BENEFITS

Enabling surcharge handling by the Payment Service Provider ensures transparent billing by separating the surcharge from the original payment amount. This simplifies financial reconciliation, improves folio clarity for guests.

FreedomPay E-commerce Payment widget with Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) and Google Pay

Added support for FreedomPay eCommerce Payments with SCA/3DS and Google Pay in OPI Cloud for an upcoming OPERA Cloud feature. The integration supports SCA/3DS authentication, Google Pay, and manual card entry. Support for deposit payments and using payment cards as a booking guarantee will be available in a future OPERA Cloud release.

OPERATIONAL BENEFITS

Any property using FreedomPay can configure and use the upcoming OPERA Cloud feature with FreedomPay eCommerce payment.

An optional Merchant ID configuration is available in OPI Cloud for native Pay by Link transactions in OPERA Cloud. When a Merchant ID is configured for Pay by Link, that Merchant ID is always sent to the PSP during Pay by Link transactions. If no Merchant ID is configured for Pay by Link, the Merchant ID defined in the hotel's PSP core configuration in OPI Cloud is used by default.
