Overview of Oracle Payment Interface Cloud Service Security

The OPI Cloud Service provides payment processing capabilities for Hospitality and Leisure Global Industry Unit (HLGIU) OPERA Cloud through Payment Service Providers (PSPs) or Prepaid Card Service Providers. It bridges OPERA Cloud to PSPs to complete credit card processing. It supports prepaid card transactions via service-to-service communication. The major features provided by OPI Cloud Service include:

  • The Token Exchange service provides an interface between OPERA Cloud and a PSP for exchanging a credit card with a token.

  • The hosted token exchange form for manual entry of a credit card to exchange with a token.

  • The Credit card service provides a cloud-based interface between OPERA Cloud and a PSP to perform credit card transactions such as authorizations and settlements.

  • The Prepaid card service provides a cloud-based interface between OPERA Cloud and Prepaid Card Service Provider to perform prepaid card transactions such as activating, issuing, and reloading a prepaid card.

  • The ECommerce Service provides a credit card service that complies with Strong Customer Authentication (SCA).

  • GitLab pipelines for OPERA Tenant provisioning and PSP provisioning.

  • The Configuration Portal service allows users to configure OPERA tenants and Payment Service Providers or Prepaid Card Service Providers in OPI Cloud.

  • The Token Exchange Service and detokenization API are provided through the Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP) for OHIP partner applications.

  • The Open Payment API allows the OHIP partner applications to call the Ecommerce service through OHIP.

  • OPI Cloud Plug & Play Tokenization Form through OHIP API allows OHIP Partner hotel websites and applications to invoke an API published in OHIP.

  • The Token Exchange Service is provided through the Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud Distribution.

  • OPI Internal Token Service is provided as a solution to tokenize hotels that are currently not tokenized via a Payment Service Provider (PSP) and do not have an integrated EFT solution with OPERA Cloud in CNE.

  • Bulk Tokenization by File for Rooming List Import.

  • Support for the migration of OPERA Cloud hotel properties from the legacy Token Proxy Service (TPS) to OPI Cloud for token exchange.

  • Support Deploying OHIP Gateway in OPI Cloud cluster to avoid OHIP processing credit card information.

  • Support Interceptor Service in OPI Cloud to avoid OHD processing credit card information

  • Oracle Payment Interface Cloud Service supports FreedomPay integration through a configurable payment endpoint and e-commerce settings.

  • The FreedomPay E-Commerce Payment Widget integrates OPERA Cloud feature with FreedomPay payment processing. The widget enables guests to securely enter payment information during the booking process and supports digital wallet payments such as Google Pay.
