What are the prerequisites to load a dictionary?

Before you load or overwrite a dictionary, make sure you have the following:

• Locally saved and zipped dictionary files.
• MDB/Configuration file—This file is shipped with Oracle Argus and it is available in <Installation path>\Oracle\Argus\DBInstaller directory. This file is automatically selected and used by Oracle Argus based on the dictionary type.
• Access to Dictionary Loader—The user must login through the default enterprise and must belong to a user group that has the Dictionary Loader option enabled under Access Management, in the Groups window, in the Menu section.
• Running RelsysWindowsService.exe back-end service. Make sure that the RelsysWindowsService.exe.config is updated with the database details as mentioned in the Oracle Argus Safety and Oracle Argus Insight Installation Guide.

Note:

The application does not need to be restarted after loading and there is not a required downtime.
