Field Descriptions
The following table lists the Field Descriptions for this section.
Field or Control Name | Description |
---|---|
Rename |
Enables you to rename the datasheet. |
Revision # | For an existing datasheet with revisions, this field displays the latest number of the datasheet revision. This is a non-editable field, value for which is incremented upon activation of the datasheet. |
Revision Name |
Enables you to enter revision name that can be viewed in the case form. For the existing datasheet that has revisions, this field is left blank. Revision name must be unique for each datasheet. |
Revision Name (J) |
This field is enabled for the Oracle Argus Safety Japan users and enables you to provide revision name in Japanese. Revision name must be unique for each datasheet. |
Activate Datasheet |
Enables you to activate the current data sheet. Be aware of the following:
|
Core Sheet |
The Core Sheet checkbox enables you to indicate that this data sheet is the central data sheet. This checkbox is disabled if another data sheet is marked as the core data sheet. |
Include |
The Include checkbox enables you to indicate that this data sheet includes the particular datasheet selected in the drop-down list. Be aware of the following:
|
Global /No local labeling assessment required |
Checking this option automatically marks any license using this data sheet, as assessed, and the license does not require any local labeling assessment. |
Notes |
On clicking the Notes icon, a pop-up appears to enable users to enter notes while entering the details of the Datasheet. |
Preferred Term |
This field displays the listed terms (Preferred Term) for the datasheet. |
Revisions |
Enables users to view a list of term that were added or removed with the added date. |
Rename |
Enables you to rename the datasheet. |
Note:
In order to facilitate optimum system performance, you can configure a limit on the number of revised terms that get displayed. If, for example, this value is set to 1000, the datasheet will display only 1000 revised terms in the list. This value is configurable in web.config by using the keyname DataSheetRevisionTermCount. The default value is 1000.Click Print to view all other revised terms.
Create a datasheet revision without adding any terms or event groups
- To create the first revision without adding any term or event
group, enter a Revision Name and click
Save.
The revision # is updated as 1, and Activate Datasheet checkbox is enabled.
- To activate the datasheet, check the Activate
Datasheet checkbox, select the Current
Date button, or Other Date radio
button and enter the
date.
When a datasheet is activated, the Current Date and Other Date options are disabled. Besides, Revision Name remains enabled and retains the name entered before.
If you change the Revision Name and click Save, the Revision # is incremented by 1, and Activate Datasheet checkbox remains enabled.
Create a datasheet revision with terms
- To create the first revision, you must add terms or event groups,
and click Save.
You can skip updating the Revision Name.
The revision # is updated as 1, and Activate Datasheet checkbox is enabled.
- To activate the datasheet, check the Activate
Datasheet checkbox, select the Current
Date button, or Other Date radio button
and enter the
date.
When a datasheet is activated, the current date option is disabled. Besides, Revision Name remains enabled and retains the name entered before.
- Click
Save.
While saving, the application verifies the uniqueness of revision name within the context of current datasheet and displays error message, if any.
If you add or remove terms after the datasheet is activated and perform save, the Revision # is incremented by 1. However, subsequent changes made to the terms will not increment datasheet revision until the next datasheet activation happens.
