Checking In an Edited Template

After using Microsoft Word to edit and save a template document, you must check it in using the Check In button on the Author tab.

To check in an edited document:

  1. Go to the Author tab.
  2. Locate and click the appropriate Check In button.
  3. When the system opens the Check In dialog box:
    1. Type the full path name for the template in the File Name field OR click Browse to locate and select the appropriate document.
    2. Type any relevant information in the Comment field.
    3. Click OK.
    The system checks the document in.
