WHO Drug Medicinal Product ID updates

Summary

Oracle Argus is enhanced to support capturing WHO Medicinal Product ID at Console > License Configuration, and use it while populating the product in Case Form as a preference over the WHO Medicinal Product ID at Console > Product Configuration.

Description

Console updates:
  • New text field, WHO Medicinal Product ID, is added in the Business Configurations > Products > License screen. This text field is enabled for all licenses for data entry. Click Select to open the Drug Coding window, and select WHO Drug. If the WHODrug C3 format is configured in the Drug Coding window, WHO Medicinal Product ID is populated on the License screen. This is an optional field.
  • New text field, WHO Medicinal Product ID, is added in the Business Configurations > Products > Product screen. Before this release, the value was stored in the LM_PRODUCT.MEDICINAL_PROD_ID backend table, but was not displayed in the screen. Now, the value is displayed on the Product screen. Click Select to open the Drug Coding window, and select WHO Drug. If the WHODrug C3 format is configured in the Drug Coding window, WHO Medicinal Product ID is populated on the Product screen. This is an optional field.
  • New check box, Transmit WHO Medicinal Product ID is added in the Console > Reporting Destination > Reports tab. This check box is enabled when the Message Profile is set to any HL7 E2B R3 profile.

    Note:

    This check box is added for future purpose. Currently, there is no functionality associated with this check box.
Case form updates
  • Auto populate WHO Medicinal Product ID for company products

    When a company product is added in the Case Form > Products tab, WHO Medicinal Product ID is populated based on the license selected while adding the company product. If the WHO Medicinal Product ID is not configured at license level in Console, then WHO Medicinal Product ID is populate as configured at the product level in Console.

  • Improvements in the Drug Coding window
    • Total number of records are displayed in the search results section next to Trade Name.
    • The Like search is replaced with the Exact search. For example:
      • Search for Trade Name = Calpol, then the records with trade name as Calpol are retrieved.
      • Search for Calpol% retrieves records with trade name starting with Calpol.
      • Search for %Calpol% retrieves records where trade name contains Calpol.
      • The Full Search check box continues to work as is. Check this check box to perform search for %Calpol%.
    • New search criterion added for the Strength and MAH fields.
