Changing the transaction timeout value

If an error occurs when you are importing a large synonym file or when running the Code and Propagate action, increase the transaction timeout value for the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MS DTC).

1. Select Start > Apps > Component Services.
2. Expand Component Services.
3. Expand Computers.
4. Right-click My Computer and select Properties.
5. Click the Options tab.
6. Set the Transaction timeout (seconds) to 300 or more, and click Apply.
7. Click OK.
