Chinese dictionary support

The Oracle Central Coding application supports:

• English and Chinese versions of the supported operating systems.

  This feature does not include localization. The Oracle Central Coding user interface is available only in English.

• The WHO‑DD Chinese and MedDRA‑C dictionaries.

  The Oracle Central Coding application supports data to be coded in any left to right language supported by MedDRA, WHO‑DD, or JDrug.

• Sorting and searching of the Chinese character sets.
• Coding algorithms for the Chinese dictionaries.
  • Synonyms and autocoding for Chinese dictionaries are supported.
  • Stopwords for Chinese dictionaries are not supported because they are not used in the Chinese character sets.
• Coding with Chinese and English dictionaries in the same database and in the same study.
