Installing the language packs for the Japanese dictionaries

Use this procedure to install the language pack for the MedDRA-J or JDrug dictionary. The language pack displays the dictionary level names and additional information labels in Japanese in the user interface.

1. Select Start > Apps > Dictionary Loader.
   The Dictionary Loader dialog box appears.
2. Make sure that the dictionary database is set up, that you are connected to the database, and that the dictionary or dictionaries are loaded.

3. In the Data Connections tree in the left pane, select the Types node for the active connection.
   Information about the Dictionary Types for this connection appears in the top pane.
4. Select the Dictionary Type for which you want to install the language pack.
5. Select Dictionary Type > Localized Elements.
   The Localized Elements dialog box appears.
6. Click Import.
   The Locate Files dialog box appears.
7. Browse to the <LanguagePack>.xml file that you want to install.
   The Oracle Central Coding software includes XML files for the standard dictionary types in <Installation Folder>\DictionaryLoader\Setup.

   • MedDRA_ja-JP.xml
   • JDrug_ja-JP.xml
8. Click OK.
