Japanese dictionary support
The Oracle Central Coding application supports:

English and Japanese versions of the supported operating systems.
This feature does not include localization. The Oracle Central Coding user interface is available only in English.

The MedDRA‑J and JDrug (Data File for Ethical Drugs (Coding Table) from Iyaku-Joho-Kenkyujo, Inc.) dictionaries.
The Oracle Central Coding application supports data to be coded in any left to right language supported by MedDRA, WHO‑DD, or JDrug.
- Sorting and searching of the Japanese character sets.
- Coding algorithms for the Japanese dictionaries.
- Synonyms and autocoding for Japanese dictionaries are supported.
- Stopwords for Japanese dictionaries are not supported because they are not used in the Japanese character sets.
- Coding with both Japanese and English dictionaries in the same database and in the same study.
