4 About integrating with the Clintrial or Oracle InForm application

The Oracle Central Coding application supports integration with the Oracle InForm application and the Clintrial application at the same time under the following circumstances:

  • One of the following is true:
    • The Oracle InForm application, Clintrial application, and Oracle Central Coding application are behind the same firewall.
    • The Oracle InForm application, Clintrial application, and Oracle Central Coding application are not behind the same firewall, but a VPN is used between the Oracle Central Coding application and the Clintrial application.
  • The Clintrial software is installed on a different machine than any of the Oracle Central Coding application servers.
  • The Oracle InForm software and the Oracle InForm Adapter software are installed on different machines than any of the Oracle Central Coding application servers. The Oracle InForm Adapter software can be installed on the same machine as the InForm software or on its own machine.
