2 System requirements: Database server

The following requirements are for using the Oracle Central Coding application with one external application, such as the InForm application or the Clintrial application.

When the application server and the database server are on the same machine, the machine must meet the requirements for both the application server and the database server.

When the application server and the database server are on different machines, we recommend that both servers are synchronized to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

Component	Description
Operating system	Operating system and hardware as specified by the Oracle 19c database software. Supported Unix platforms: Oracle Enterprise Linux version 8.5 for 64-bit systems.
Processor	As required by the Oracle specification for the operating system.
Memory	As required by the Oracle specification for the operating system.
Disk space	In addition to the space required for the Oracle installation, approximately 500 MB tablespace with autoextend allocated as follows: Approximately 400 MB tablespace with autoextend for coding requests. Approximately 100 MB tablespace with autoextend for the dictionaries.
Connectivity	100/1000 NIC.
Software—Oracle components	Oracle Database Server (Standard or Enterprise Edition) 19.19.0.0.
