About coding definitions
A coding definition is a set of parameters that is used in conjunction with assignment rules to process incoming requests.
A coding definition:
- Is associated with a coding dictionary.
- Consists of a synonym list, stopword list, and coding algorithm.
- Controls the dictionary elements that appear in the user interface and are returned to the source application. For more information, see About configuring dictionary elements.
