Export data analysis

Once you have created visualizations in workbooks, dashboards or stories, you can export your analysis in different formats to share your insights with your study team.

  1. In Oracle Clinical One Analytics, in an open workbook, select the export icon (export icon) located in the top menu bar.
    • You can export Canvases (or visuals in a Canvas) from the Visualize pane.
    • You can export story Pages (or visuals in a Page) from the Narrate pane.
  2. Select an option:
    • File
    • Print
  3. In the File or Print dialog respectively, fill in the fields with the available options as required:

    You may see different combination of export settings, depending on the output format.
    Field Description
    Name Enter a name for your export file.
    Format Prompted only when you export as a file.
    • Powerpoint (pptx)
    • Acrobat (pdf)
    • Image (png)
    • Data (csv)
    • Excel (xlsx)
      • Excel files have a self-imposed limit of 25,000 rows. Use the Data (csv) option to ensure all data is included in the output.
    • Package (dva)
      • dva files are specific to Oracle Analytics and exports the whole workbook. If you choose this format you are prompted with different export settings, relevant to this format only. These settings are: Include Data,Include Connection Credentials, Include Permissions and Protect Password.
    Include Select what do you wan to include in your export file or print:
    • Active Canvas/ Active Page
    • Active Visual
    • All Canvas/ All Story Pages
    Include Filters Activate the toggle if you want to include project and visualization filters in the output. This toggle is off and inactive when not applicable.
    Include Title Activate the toggle if you want to include the project title in the output.
    Size Select the size for the output:
    • Standard Ratio (4:3)
    • Widescreen Ratio (16:9)
    • US Letter (8.5" x 11")
    • A3 (297mm x 420mm)
    • A4 (210mm x 297mm)
    • A5 (148mm x 210mm)
    • Folio (8.5" x 13")
    • Legal (8.5" x 14")
    • Custom
      • If you choose custom size, enter measure and units for prompted Width and Height fields.
    Orientation
    • Portrait
    • Landscape
  4. Select Save or Print to continue.

    Tip:

    To go back, select Cancel.
