Template role names include new unblinding label

Role names have been updated to reflect the alert of unblinding potential for particular template user roles.

To alert user managers to the potential of particular study roles for unblinding data, the following template study role names have been updated:

• Clinical Supply Manager - Unblinded (Template)
• Pharmacy User - Unblinded (Template)
• Statistician - Unblinded (Template)

Note:

This name change doesn't impact the permissions included in these study role templates. Moreover, users who are assigned custom study roles are not impacted by this change at all.

Impact on reports

The new template role names will be reflected in all user management reports:

• Global study roles report
• Study roles report by study
• User assigned across studies
• User assignment
• User assignment by site
• User upload error
• User upload template

Already working in a live study?

If you have been assigned any of the roles mentioned above and are currently working in a live study, the name of your role will also be updated.
