Enhancements to Oracle DMW clinical data extracts

STUDY column now updates based on Study Identifier

With this release, the STUDY column found in Oracle Life Sciences Data Management Workbench Clinical Data Extracts has now been remapped to draw data from the Study Identifier, in Oracle Clinical One Platform. Previously, this column was populated based on the Study Version Title.

The Study Identifier is located on the General tab of the study settings for a Oracle Clinical One Platform study. This change means that renaming to specific study versions, including Advanced Study Versioning (ASV) updates, no longer maps to the STUDY column.

Caution:

For studies integrated with Oracle DMW, the Study Identifier must no longer be updated after adding at least one study version to the Testing container. Modifying the Study Identifier after this stage prevents Oracle Clinical One Platform from properly handling external inbound requests for the modified study.

Already working in a live study?

For studies already integrated with Oracle DMW, the STUDY column is updated to reflect this change.

This change is applied retroactively: on your next data load, the STUDY value for all clinical records will update. If you have questions about this update or need support, reach out to your Oracle point of contact.

Note:

Updates to the STUDY column do not impact primary keys maintained by Oracle DMW. However, this change to the STUDY column may impact your Transformations, Custom Listings, and Validation Checks in Oracle DMW, depending on your use of this application.
