Upload video files to form questions

Sponsor users can now allow sites to upload video files to form questions.

In some cases, it's necessary to upload video files to help serve as objective evidence in documenting and tracking changes in a targeted system throughout the course of the study. These uploaded files are sourced through a clinically validated platform that aids in referencing the material from that specific system.

Details for sponsor and site users

Uploading video files of 10 MB or less to form questions are now supported in the following formats:
  • mp4
  • mov
  • AVI

Note:

The system displays an error message if you upload a video file in an unsupported format or a file size larger than 10 MB.

Preview and playback of a video file is not available within Oracle Clinical One Platform. You must download the video file locally to your computer to view it.

More information can be found in the Study Designer Guide and Site User Guide after the Release Assessment Environment (RAE) upgrade completes.

Impact on extracts and reports

The following extracts and reports now include information on these new video formats, as they do with existing formats when applicable:
  • Subject Data Extract
  • Subject Data report
  • Subject Queries report
