Enhancements to Oracle CRF Submit archives and reports
Blank form PDFs are now more easily identifiable
By default, Submission requests include blank form PDFs. For all other request types, including Archival (sponsor and site) and Custom, the setting Include Blank Forms must be set to Yes to include blank form PDFs with the request.
To help differentiate blank form PDFs from other files, the default file name for the blank form PDFs has been updated to include "blankforms," for example, <studyname>-<blankforms>-<study version> (abc123-blankforms-1.0.0.1).
Changes to the PDF security settings for Custom PDF requests
Currently, the Advanced Settings page for Custom PDF requests includes a Prevent Form Changes setting with Yes and No options. If Yes is selected, a password must be manually entered. This password is required to unlock the PDF and introduce changes to it.
- The current Yes option has been updated to Yes, user-provided password for greater clarity.
- A new option, Yes, irretrievable password, is now available. When enabled, a system-generated password is created that cannot be retrieved by Oracle. This provides additional protection against unauthorized PDF changes or accidental use of a manually entered password.
Caution:
Neither the user-provided nor the system-generated passwords are retrievable by Oracle.Video file links now open correctly
Video files imported at the question level can now be opened directly via links embedded in a subject PDF. Previously, embedded links did not work, requiring users to navigate to the Uploaded Files folder in the relevant site folder.
