Highlight Missing Questions View
To ensure the timely input of data, site users can now switch to the Highlight Missing Questions view while completing visits.
Details for site users
Site users can now highlight questions with incomplete or missing data by selecting Highlight Missing Questions in the upper right corner of the data entry area. Questions with missing data are outlined in red and are accompanied by the message Value is required.
Once you select Highlight Missing Questions, the page automatically takes you to the first question with missing data.
Note:
Questions marked by users as Not Done, Not Applicable, and Unknown are not highlighted when you press the Highlight Missing Questions button, as they are not considered missing. However, question that have automatically been marked as Not Answered are highlighted by this view.As a site user, you should also be aware of the following:
- The Highlight Missing Questions button also displays the count of questions with missing data once you select it. This count is updated every time you save the visit data.
- Whenever the response to a triggering question triggers a dynamic question or the dynamic flat form that includes required fields, those missing required questions are highlighted only after you save your subject data.
- For repeating or two-section forms, questions are only considered missing once the form or row has been started. As such, questions on forms and rows that have not been started are not highlighted.
- Questions that are visible only to specific roles are highlighted as missing only for users in those roles.
You can find additional information on using this feature in the Site User Guide after the assessment environment upgrade finishes.
