Schedule a report

Users assigned to roles with the Schedule Report to Run permission can schedule reports to run on a schedule defined within Clinical One Cloud Service.

To create a schedule for a report:

  1. Navigate to the Reports & Archives tab. For step-by-step instructions, see Access the Reports & Archives page.
  2. Select the type of report that you want to define the schedule for (for example, Subject Queries).

    Note:

    If you cannot set a schedule for a particular type of report, you see this message in the side panel: Scheduling this report is not supported..
  3. For valid reports, expand the Schedule Reports side panel and select Create Schedule.
  4. In the Create Schedule dialog box, complete the following:
    • Start Date - Select a date from the calendar.
    • Time Zone - Select a time zone from the drop-down list.
    • Frequency - Select how often you want the report created from the drop-down list (for example, once a day).
    • Send Notification To - Enter one or more email addresses of people you want notified on the report.
  5. Enter Next.
  6. Complete report-specific settings. For example, depending on the type of report you need to schedule, you may see fields similar to this:
    • Last Query Status - Select one of the following from the drop-down list: Candidate, Opened, Deleted, Answered, or Closed.
    • Query Age - Select All for the report to include all ages or select From to set a range.
    • Include Audit Trail - Select Yes or No.
    • File Type - Select the type of file you want when you download the report: CSV, HTML, or PDF.
  7. Select Save.
Once saved, the report schedule shows in the Schedule Reports side panel. From here, you can enable, disable, or edit a scheduled report.

Tip:

To edit a report schedule, select the pencil (
pencil icon
) next to the schedule title.
