Description of the Supply Settings tab.

Field Description
Site Kit Reconciliation Required Indicates if the site needs reconciliation facilities for kits
Dispense Kits By Indicates the method by which kits are dispensed, if
  • Lowest Kit Number & Closest Expiration Date Caution: May risk partial unblinding in a study if multiple kits are dispensed to different subjects one at a time
  • Lowest Sequence Number & Closest Expiration Date (the default)
Depot Kit Reconciliation Required Indicates whether shipment destruction can be managed within Oracle Clinical One Platform at a depot facility, when this feature is enabled
Randomize Only When All Kits Are Available at Site Indicates if randomization requires all kit types to be in site inventory (Yes), or if randomization is allowed regardless of inventory (No, default)
Select Kits

Indicates the specific kit types that must be available at a site to permit subject randomization, when Randomize Only when All Kits are Available at Site is set to Yes. Defaults to All; multiple selections are allowed

Dispense Reusable Kits Indicates if site users can conserve and re-dispense reusable kits to subjects (Yes), or if re-dispensing is not allowed (No)
Dispense only reusable kits from the subject's last dispensation visit Indicates whether site users are limited to view and dispense only conserved reusable kits from a subject’s most recent dispensation visit, instead of all prior visits
Request Sites to Confirm Dispensation Indicates if site users must confirm kit dispensation during each visit (Yes), or if confirmation is not required (No)
Shipment ID Prefix Indicates the prefix used for every shipment ID. For integrations, only numeric prefixes may be allowed depending on the vendor
Send Initial Shipments Indicates when initial shipments are sent to a site: at site activation or after the first subject starts a selected visit. Only one initial shipment is sent per site
Visit Number Indicates the visit that triggers initial shipment, available only if sending initial shipment after first subject starts a visit
Single Kit Ordering Allowed Indicates if a shipment can consist of a single kit (Yes), or if multiple kits per shipment are required (No)
Blinded Groups Required Indicates if blinded kit groups are needed when single kit ordering isn't allowed (Yes), or not required (No)
Kits Added to Prevent Unblinding Indicates how kits are added to shipments to protect study blind when single kit ordering isn't allowed
Send Kit Type Indicates the kit type added to a single-kit shipment to protect the blind, when applicable
Label Groups Required Indicates if kits require label groups (Yes) or not (No)
Allow for Temperature Excursions Indicates if temperature excursions are monitored for kits (Yes), or not monitored (No)
Allow Single Kit Quarantine Indicates if single kits can be quarantined due to temperature excursion, available only if Allow for Temperature Excursion is enabled
Shipments Received without a Temperature Monitor Indicates if kits received without a temperature monitor are quarantined or allowed to continue the receipt process, available only if Allow for Temperature Excursion is enabled
Temperature Excursion Starting Number Indicates the starting number used for shipment tracking related to temperature excursions, available only if Allow for Temperature Excursion is enabled
Multiple Storage Requirements Indicates if shipments are created based on specific storage needs (Yes), or if all kits follow the same storage requirement (No)
Notification Schedule Indicates whether receive shipment notifications are sent Daily or only Once
Notification to Receive Shipment (in days) Indicates the number of days after shipment before a site receives the notification to confirm receipt
Site can Request Shipments Indicates if sites can request shipments without approval (Yes), or only with supply manager approval (No)
Select Shipping Address Indicates if a shipping address is required for each kit type per site (Yes), or if the default site address is used (No)
Dispense From Same Lot to Subject at Site Indicates if a site dispenses a kit to a subject from the same manufacturing lot
Ship Kits From Same Lot to Site Indicates if a depot ships a kit to a site from the same manufacturing lot
Last Updated By User name of the user who performed the last update on the Supply Settings fields in the Study Settings
