Highlight Missing Questions view

To quickly identify required questions that have not yet been completed, use the Highlight Missing Questions view.

Found in the upper right corner of the Forms panel, the Highlight Missing Questions button highlights required questions with missing data by outlining their input fields in red. These are also accompanied by the message Value is required.

When using this feature, you should also be aware of the following:

• Selecting Highlight Missing Questions automatically takes you to the first question with missing data.
• Once it is selected, the Highlight Missing Questions button also displays the count of questions with missing data, which is updated every time a user saves the visit data.
• Whenever the response to a triggering question triggers a dynamic question or the dynamic flat form that includes required fields, those missing required questions are highlighted only after the user saves the subject data.
• For repeating or 2-section forms, questions are only considered missing once the form or row has been started. As such, questions on forms and rows that have not been started are not highlighted.
• Questions that are visible only to specific roles are highlighted as missing only for users in those roles.
