What is the workflow for dispensing Unblinded Pharmacist kits?

Unblinded Pharmacist kits can only be dispensed by a pharmacist or an unblinded site user in the study. Blinded site users are never allowed to dispense these kits, but receive a notice to see their pharmacist instead.

For blinded site users

Whether you need to perform dose changes, conserve kits, dispense devices, or confirm the dispensation of blinded kits, you can follow your regular workflow for these types of kits. For more details, see Enter data and dispense kits.

If during the same visit certain kits can only be dispensed by a pharmacist or unblinded site user, you will be instructed to see your pharmacist or unblinded site user, so they can dispense these kits.

If during a dispensation visit, only kits that can be dispensed by a pharmacist or unblinded site user are required, there's nothing left for you to do but contact the pharmacist or unblinded site user at your site.

After you dispense the blinded kits to subjects, you'll receive a successful dispensation notification that also contains a notice to see your pharmacist or unblinded site user for dispensing the Unblinded Pharmacist kits. Additionally, the notification contains a list of all blinded kits you just dispensed. For more details on the notification, see Subject dispensation notification (with failures).

For pharmacists or unblinded site users

After you receive the Unblinded Pharmacist dispensation notification that contains the list of kits that you need to prepare and dispense, you can give those kits to subjects that arrive at a site you're assigned to.

To dispense these kits, simply follow your regular workflow in the system. For more details, see Enter data and dispense kits.

Note:

You can run the Subject Dispensation report to see the Unblinded Pharmacist kits that you just dispensed during a visit.
