Access the rules section

Access the rules section to start creating and managing predefined rules in form design, whether it is for validation rules or action rules.

To access the rules section you need to select a question in an exisiting form. The following steps describe the procedure whether you are working in exisiting forms and questions or creating them as you go.

1. Access the Draft version of a study as described in Open a study's design.
2. Make sure you are on the Data Collection page.
3. Click the Forms tab.
4. Depending on what your next step is, you can:
   • Click Add Form to create a new form from scratch.
   • Select an existing form and click Edit to work in an existing form.
5. Select an existing question to edit or click Add Question and define a new question.

6. On the right pane, locate and expand the Rules section.
