Configure source data verification settings

If your study requires a targeted source data verification strategy, you must work with your study manager to configure these two settings for certain or all questions in the study.

To configure source data verification settings at a question level:

1. Access the Draft version of a study as described in Open a study's design.
2. Make sure you are on the Data Collection tab.
3. On your form, select a question.
4. On the right, expand the Details pane.
5. Turn on one or both of the following toggles ():

   Option	Description
   SDV for All Subjects	To require CRAs to always verify this question in a study.
   Critical Variables (Targeted SDV)	To require CRAs to verify this question when the question has been marked as a Critical Variable, but has not been selected for the subject pool.

Already working in a live study?

• Any changes to a study's Source Data Verification settings will only be reflected on a subject once a visit for that subject has been opened by a user.
• Changes to the subject selection criteria of an SDV strategy, which has already been applied to a site, will be reflected on the next subject selected for SDV.
