Resetting the Password
You can reset the password for any database account as necessary; for example, if a user forgets his or her password.
To reset a password for a database account, do the following:
- Select Database Account from the Manage context menu, accessed from Navigation in the Oracle DMW toolbar.
- Use the Search Application User function to find the user account in need of a new password.
- Select the user account name in the search results.
- Click Reset Password.
- In the Password field, enter the new password at least 8 characters long.
- In the Confirm Password, enter the new password again.
- Click Apply.
