Removing a Database Account

You can delete an Oracle DMW database account and its underlying database account; for example, when the user associated with the account leaves the company.

To delete a database account, do the following:

  1. Select Database Account from the Manage context menu, accessed from Navigation in the Oracle DMW toolbar.
  2. Use the Search Application User function to find the user account you wish to delete.
  3. Select the user account name in the search results.
  4. Click the Remove button. A confirmation message appears, warning you that the user schema will also be deleted.
  5. Click Yes to continue with the deletion. The system deletes the account and the underlying database account/user schema.
