Configure your Home page
You can configure the sections of the home page and the entries within each section.
Select the sections to include
Note:
In addition to the sections on the Home page, your user administrator can create and publish a custom HTML home page (stored in the\customhomes
subdirectory of the server) and then apply it to your login group on the Login Group Settings page.
- Log in to Oracle Empirica and select the Configure
icon under your name and then select Setup Home page sections. - On the Configure Sections page, select the sections to include by moving them from the Available list to the Selected list using the right and left arrows.
Note:
You can reorder the Selected list using the up and down arrows to the right of the Selected list. - To save the Selected list as a default for your login group's home pages, a user administrator can select the Use current layout as login group default checkbox.
- Select OK.
The Home page is reconfigured as necessary to match the Selected list.
Note:
A user administrator using the Use current layout as login group default should have all the additional privileges of users in their login group, such as View Signal Management and be a member of all Topic work teams for their login group. Otherwise, not all items will be available for selection.Select the entries within the sections
- For each section, select the Configure Section Content
icon. - On the Configure Tasks or Source Data page, select the sections to include by moving them from the Available list to the Selected list. using the right and left arrows.
- To save the Selected list as a default for your login group's home pages, select the Use current layout as login group default checkbox.
The selected and available lists contain all possible tasks/sources visible to you. A selected item may not display a card; for example, if you have no topics or actions assigned to you for a Topics Task card.
- Select OK.
Note:
To start over and set the configuration back to the login group default, select the Reset checkbox. If you are a user administrator, you can save the configuration as the login group default.Parent topic: Your Home page is your starting point
