Define the set of topics to work with
The View items for selectors at the top of the Topics, Actions, and Calendar tabs filter the topics and actions that appear in the Topics and Actions graphs, Topics and Actions tables, and on the calendar.
View items for selector is intended to show all topics or actions where you or a selected work team might need to act, such as:
- Option All displays all items visible to you. For example, items you created and that are assigned to you, or that have been made visible through the Visible to work team topic field.
- Options Me or Work team are restricted to the items displayed based on topic or action assignments as detailed below.
The displayed list uses a broader search taking into account assignments on different levels and for other team members, if you have appropriate access to view them. For a more targeted view of topics or actions specifically assigned to a particular person or team, see Filter the Topics and Actions tables on the Topics or Actions tables based on the Assigned To field.
Note:
When you navigate between the Topics and Actions tabs, Oracle Empirica Signal remembers your most recent topic workflow configuration and the following items for each topic workflow configuration that you select: the View Items for selection, the Topics By and Actions By selection, whether you included closed topics and actions in the graph area, the selected filters and their filter values in the Filter bar, and the Assigned to selection in the Calendar tab. These are remembered when you navigate back to the Topics, Actions, or Calendar tab or switch back to a previously selected topic workflow configuration and also remembered the next time that you log in.
