Manage signal configuration refreshes
You can monitor and manage refreshes for interactive signal configurations and multisource signal configurations. You cannot manage scripted signal configuration refreshes. Scripted signal configurations are managed outside of the Oracle Empirica Signal application, based on your organization's requirements. See About signal configurations.
When to consider refreshing a signal configuration?
Typically, you refresh an interactive signal configuration after you perform the following activities (or the underlying data has been refreshed):
Additional considerations for multisource configurations
In addition to the above criteria, multisource configurations require a refresh in any of the following conditions:
- Dependent configurations have been refreshed.
- Secondary configurations have changed.
- Objects shared with the lead configuration have changed. When shared objects have changed, you must refresh the lead configuration first, then refresh the multisource configuration.
During a refresh, Oracle Empirica Signal incorporates your changes and validates the signal configuration. If validation errors are found, the refresh fails.
