Change a user to LDAP authentication

You can search for a user that can use LDAP authentication and apply LDAP to the user.

Note:

This procedure does not apply for Oracle-hosted installations.

1. Log in to Oracle Empirica Signal as a user with the permissions Administer Users and Administer LDAP.

   Note:

   Make sure that at least one user profile exists.
2. In the left navigation pane, click the Settings icon ().
3. In the Manage Users section, click Edit Users.
4. Click the Row Action menu () for the user you want to edit, and then click Edit.

   Note:

   You can edit only users in your login group.
5. In the Authentication drop-down list, select LDAP.
6. Click Import LDAP Users. This option is available only if an LDAP configuration has been set up.
7. In the Name field, enter a text string, and then click Find to filter the list of available LDAP users (optional).
8. Select a user in the Available LDAP Users list, and then click OK.
