Copy a user profile

You can copy a user profile and apply it to another user.

1. In the left navigation pane, select the Settings icon ().
2. In the Manage Users section, select Edit User Profiles.
3. To copy a user profile, select the Row Action menu () for a user profile, and then select Copy.
4. Fill in the fields on the Copy User Profile page.

   Copy User Profile Fields

   Field	Description
   User Profile Name:	Prepopulated with “Copy of” + space + the profile name being copied.
   Quota	Maximum amount of server space in megabytes (M) that users with this user profile are permitted to use for creating runs. If this limit is exceeded, users cannot submit new runs (or re-runs). To indicate an unlimited amount of storage space, leave this field blank. If you enter 0, users cannot create any runs even if the user has appropriate permissions.
   Login Group	The name of the login group associated with the user profile displays if you are a superuser. If the Login Group field is set to a login group that does not have a user profile yet, then enable the Make this the default user profile for this login group checkbox. If the login group has a default user profile, then leave the checkbox as disabled.
   Make this the default user profile for this login group checkbox	Enable if the selected login group does not already have a default user profile. If the login group has a default user profile, then leave the checkbox as disabled.

5. Select Save.
   The new profile is created, copying the roles, permissions, and preferences. If the Make this the default user profile for this login group checkbox is checked then this user profile is made the default for the login group.

   Note:

   Preferences that depend on login group permissions are not copied (Drug Profile Configuration, Drug Profile Layout, Signal Management Configuration, Topic Workflow Configuration).
