Before you begin

Both Oracle Signal and Argus Mart databases have to be installed in the same PDB (pluggable database). You need access to the Oracle Empirica Signal distribution media and required user names and passwords.

To install the Argus Mart data configuration, you need:

• An Oracle Argus Mart database in which ETL has been run.
• Access to the Oracle Argus Mart 8.0 update for Oracle Empirica Signal 9.2.x distribution media, which contains:
  • Update_AM_for_Signal_9_2_x_x_xxx.zip
  • Oracle Argus Mart Release Notes 9.2.2.1.pdf.
  • Argus_Prep_3_0_0_x_xxx.zip —A Zip archive file. Optional for Argus Signal Management.
• The TNS name of the Oracle Signal PDB passwords for AM_MART_USER and <Signal Main> (for example, WEBVDME, SIGNAL, etc.) database user accounts.
• The user name and password associated with a non-privileged user account on the Oracle Empirica Signal application server.
• The MedDRA version used for each time period in the data.
• The user name and password associated with an administrator account on the Oracle WebLogic Server Administration console.
