Edit a multisource signal configuration

You must have Manage Signal Configurations permission to edit a multisource signal configuration. The signal configuration must be published to you, individually, or to your login group.
  1. In the left navigation pane, click the Settings icon (Settings icon).
  2. In the Configure System section, click Manage Signal Configurations.
  3. Click the Row Action menu (Row Action menu icon) for the multisource signal configuration, and then click Edit.
  4. Edit the fields according to the table below.

    Note:

Multisource signal configurations require a refresh if dependent configurations have been refreshed, secondary configurations or objects shared with the lead configuration have changed. When shared objects have changed, you must refresh the lead configuration first at least once, then refresh the multisource configuration.
  5. Click Save.

Oracle Empirica Signal validates the signal configuration, and any errors are displayed at the top of the page.

Suppress alert calculations in next refresh

Select this option if you do not want to calculate any alerts the next time the configuration is refreshed.

  • When you remove or replace a secondary configuration, this option is selected by default.
  • You can override this setting if you are sure it will not cause problems with the configuration.

Note:

If you remove or replace a secondary configuration, alert types and views may still point to the previous configuration that is no longer connected to the multisource signal configuration. If this is the case, the refresh fails unless you suppress alert calculations.
