Configuring CRF links in custom reports

If you create custom reports using Cognos Reporting, and those reports include form data, you can create links to the Oracle InForm forms in the custom reports.

To create the form links in a custom report:

1. Run the pfadmin SETSERVER TrialURL command and provide the URL for your study. For more information, see pfadmin.
2. Create the custom reports.
3. In the Cognos Reporting application:
   1. Add a join to RT_INFORMSYSCONFIG to the report.

      This allows the report to access the study URL that you specified in the pfadmin SETSERVER TrialURL command.

   2. Concatenate the study URL with the INFORMPARTIALURL_CRFVIEW value to provide the full link to a form.
   3. Add JavaScript to allow the user to click a Cognos HTML cell.
