Using a proxy server

The Oracle Life Sciences InForm Publisher application allows you to send messages through a proxy server. A .NET specific application configuration file allows you to specify application-wide proxy behavior using the .NET system.net.defaultProxy configuration element.

The application configuration file for the Oracle InForm Publisher application is installed with the Oracle InForm Publisher software and is located in the /Bin directory under the installation location. The application configuration file is called InFormPublisher.exe.config.

Example—Specifying a simple proxy server
The following proxy server configuration sends all outgoing traffic from the Oracle Life Sciences InForm Publisher application through port 9044 on 127.0.0.1.
Example—Using a bypass list
The following proxy server configuration sends all outgoing traffic from the Oracle Life Sciences InForm Publisher application through port 9044 on 127.0.0.1, unless the endpoint address matches a regular expression specified in the bypass list.
