CRF Aging by Site

Subtotals and totals

This report shows:

  • The number of forms that are expected at any point in the study.
  • The number of forms that are incomplete.
  • The length of time that incomplete forms have been incomplete, beginning with the date of visit.

Note:

This calculation relies on the use of the DOV controls specified in the form design.

CRAs use this report to stay current on the CRF activity within their site.

  • Subtotals—By Country.
  • Totals—Overall form count totals.

Table 3-2 Column descriptions

Column Description
Country

Data type: String

Description: The country in which a site is located, as entered in the Oracle InForm Administration interface.

Data source: Replicated from the Oracle InForm transactional database to the Reporting and Analysis database.

Site Mnemonic

Data type: String

Description: An abbreviation that identifies a site, as entered in the Oracle InForm Administration interface.

Data source: Replicated from the Oracle InForm transactional database to the Reporting and Analysis database.

Subject Count

Data type: Numeric

Description: The number of subjects who enrolled at the site.

How calculated: For each site, counts subjects who enrolled at the site, including subjects who are currently assigned other states.

Note: The Enrollment form, designed according to Oracle InForm specifications, must be completed for the subject.

UUID: PF_SC_COMPLETECTL

Data source: Status is determined by the value on the Enrollment form, which is stored in the Reporting and Analysis database. Status is set to 1 when the subject is enrolled.

Form Counts: Expected

Data type: Numeric

Description: The number of expected forms in the study.

How calculated: This number reflects the number of expected forms for the site based on the option selected for the Expected forms for filter on the report prompt page. For more information, see Form elements and expected forms.

Data source: Derived for the report; not stored in the Reporting and Analysis database.

Form Counts: Complete

Data type: Numeric (Percentage)

Description: The number of completed forms, and the percentage of expected forms that are complete in the Oracle InForm application.

How calculated: Counts forms that are expected and meet the following criteria:

  • Are started.
  • Contain data for all required items.
  • For a repeating form, the form is not in a deleted state.
  • For an itemset form, the form is complete even if all the instances are deleted.

This value displays as a whole number and as a percentage of the total number of expected forms that are complete:

[completed, % of expected] = [completed forms] * 100 / [expected forms]

Data source: Replicated from the Oracle InForm transactional database to the Reporting and Analysis database. Percentage is derived for display.

Form Counts: Incomplete

Data type: Numeric

Description: The number of expected forms that are started but not complete.

How calculated: For each site, this calculation is:

[count of started forms] - [count of completed forms]

Data source: Derived for the report; not stored in the Reporting and Analysis database.

Form Counts: Not Started

Data type: Numeric (Percentage)

Description: The number (and percentage) of expected forms that are not started in the Oracle InForm application.

How calculated: A form is started if any data, queries, or comments have been entered. Each instance of a repeating form counts as a separate started form. A dynamic form may be Activated, but not Started.

This value displays as a whole number and as the percentage of expected forms that are not started:

[not started, % of expected] = [not started forms count] * 100 / [expected forms count]

Data source: Derived for the report; not stored in the Reporting and Analysis database.

Incomplete (from DOV) Form Count (% of Incomplete)

Data type: Numeric (Percentage)

Description: The total count of all forms across all subjects that have been incomplete for specific ranges of calendar days after the date of visit. You specify the aging interval (in days) on the report prompt page.

For example, if you specify 7, the resulting report shows the number of forms that have been incomplete for:

  • Seven or fewer days.
  • More than 7 but equal to or fewer than 14 days.
  • More than 14 but equal to or fewer than 21 days.
  • More than 21 but equal to or fewer than 28 days.
  • More than 28 days.

How calculated: This value displays as a whole number, followed by a percentage of the total incomplete form count. The percentage is calculated as follows:

[count of incomplete forms within the aging interval] * 100 / [count of incomplete forms]

Note: This report element assumes that your study was developed using a specific design for the DOV controls.
