About study versioning

After you create and deploy a study to the InForm application, you may need to update a study object such as a form or a visit. To make a study version change, or an in-place revision change, you must use the Central Designer application. For more information, see the Central Designer User Guide for Form Designers.

Note: When a new study version is deployed and the site is upgraded to the new study version, repeating forms are displayed with a new version stating "Form version approved for use at the site starting : <Date>", even when there were no changes in those specific forms.
