Add an associated document version

Use associated versioning when you need to differentiate a sub-version of a document and want to keep the original.

You must have Enable adding associated document versions permission to see the associated versioning option in the Document modal’s Actions menu.
  1. Open the document modal (placeholder) for the document to which you will associate a new version.
  2. At the far right of the modal, click Actions and select Add a new associated version.
  3. Click Confirm.
The new associated document version displays on the Documents tab with version number (e.g, 0.1) in parentheses.
