Standard report migration

Most standard Oracle Site Activate reports are undergoing migration to Oracle Analytics Cloud.

Migration summary

With release 24.2, most standard Oracle Site Activate reports are being migrated from Tableau to Oracle Analytics Cloud data visualizations. Migrated reports are planned to be available for customer access with the upcoming release 24.2.1.

Migrated reports will have the common changes listed below, as well as report-level functional changes that will be documented with release 24.2.1.

  • Report tabs are located below the worksheet or dashboard content instead of above
  • Data filters are now located in a row above the worksheet or Dashboard instead of in a panel to the right side
  • You can now add in a temporary filter on a report from all the available columns to further filter the data in the report.
  • Minor differences in the standard reports color palette with no functional impact
  • Some data export sheets have been eliminated due to redundant functionality

Note:

Access to reports in Oracle Analytics Cloud requires Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) authentication. Please contact your Oracle services representative to discuss requirements and scheduling for your organization's account.

The following standard report will not be migrated, and it will be deprecated as of the upcoming 24.2.1 release:

  • All activities + Notes report - Note users who have permission to access the Data Export Utility can create equivalent exports using the Study Activity Cube and Study Notes Cube respectively.

The following standard reports are not currently planned for migration. They will be migrated or deprecated based on technical feasibility and user values:

  • Analyze Adoption Dashboard
  • User Groups and Workbook permissions
