Taiwan country name
Site users will now see “Taiwan” instead of “Taiwan, Province of China” in the Oracle Site Select Site portal; in emails with country and address placeholders; in downloads of CDA/Generic documents with country and address placeholders; and in completed survey downloads.
Taiwan country name display
With this release, we made enhancements that update the Oracle Site Select Site portal to display “Taiwan” instead of “Taiwan, Province of China” wherever the country value appears. The system will continue to save the value as “Taiwan, Province of China” at the data level, which isn't visible to any Site user. This country name display enhancement changes the following:
- Site portal user interface: Site profile elements and related drop-downs, including PI; Institution; Site; and Country, now display “Taiwan,” and a site with its country set to Taiwan shows “Taiwan” in the Site profile.
- Email templates: Invitation, Final Acceptance, and Final Decline email templates that use country and address placeholders (i.e., inst_country, pi_country, inst_full_address, and/or pi_full_address) now render “Taiwan” instead of “Taiwan, Province of China" in emails sent to a Site user.
- Documents: CDA and Generic documents that use country and address placeholders (i.e., inst_country, pi_country, inst_full_address, and/or pi_full_address) display “Taiwan” wherever the country value is rendered. Completed surveys downloaded from the Site portal's Study Documents tab also display "Taiwan" instead of "Taiwan, Province of China."
