Associating a user with a site

Note:

Before proceeding, ensure that you comply with the regulatory requirements described in Regulatory Requirements for Oracle InForm User Management Tool.

If you chose not to associate a user with a site while creating the user, you can do so now.

  • If a user is not associated to any sites in Oracle InForm User Management Tool, the user will not see all the tabs in Oracle InForm.
  • Make sure to associate a site to a user before choosing to authorize the user to the trial that loads the user to Oracle InForm.
  1. Select Users from the menu bar.
  2. Select the sponsor company and trial from the Current Sponsor Company and Trial drop-down lists.
  3. In the Username column, click a user name.
  4. Below User Association, select one or more sites to give the user access to and select the Rights Groups for the user.
    1. Use the Filter By drop-down list to select all sites, all sites in a particular time zone within a country, or all sites in a particular country.
    2. Select Automatic Association if you want to automatically associate this user to any sites created in the future for the selected country or timezone.

      Note:

      Automatic Association is only available for Sponsor type users.
    3. Select the site or sites to give the user access to.
      • You can associate a site user with only one site.
      • You can associate a sponsor user with multiple sites.
    4. Assign the user to a Signature Group and a Query Group.
  5. In the Reason for change field, enter a reason for change.
  6. Click Submit and then click Return.
